“I have had the opportunity to work with many architects on several projects and a clear differentiator for Cheryl is that she dedicated the time to listen to our wants and needs, she asked excellent questions and was able to clearly translate our discussions into fabulous effective and efficient design--just outstanding.”

“What we liked most about working with Cheryl is that she not only listened to us, she made us feel that our projects were just as important to her. We always wanted a nice portico over our front door, but we couldn't get contractors to understand what it was we wanted. We also had to replace our rather large and unusual back deck; it was Cheryl to the rescue! We had a meeting with Cheryl where she asked us what it was we were looking for and what it was we were not looking for. Amazingly, from this meeting, Cheryl was able to come back to us with some great possibilities. After a couple more meetings, and few changes and tweaks, Cheryl brought our ideas to life.

Cheryl made this whole process so much easier by always keeping the line of communication open. All calls and emails to Cheryl were answered in a timely manner and to our satisfaction, which was a must for us. As anyone who has done home improvement projects knows, these projects can be very stressful. With Cheryl, it was nice knowing she was there to help if needed.

We found Cheryl a pure joy to work with! We would recommend her to anyone who is planning a project. The favorite part of our project wasn't just the end result, which we love! It was meeting and getting to know Cheryl.”

“This was our first big renovation project and there was a lot we didn’t know. Cheryl guided us every step of the way, explaining various ways we could proceed and making recommendations based on her experiences. Her candid and friendly approach made her a pleasure to work with and gained our trust immediately.

Her architectural design work was terrific. We thought we knew how we wanted to layout our new office and guest bedroom/bathroom. I never would have thought to lay the rooms out this way, and she made it work wonderfully.

In addition to the architectural design for the rooms, Cheryl has great sense of interior design and was a tremendous help in picking the tiles, fixtures and lighting for the room. She designed a pattern for the floor tiles and the shower tiles that give a whole new dimension to the bathroom.

It was a pleasure working with Cheryl both on a personal and professional basis. I will most certainly call her again with any future needs.

“Having worked with many architects for projects large and small, commercial and residential, I can honestly say that working with Cheryl Newton was a pleasure. We retained her services for the development of a free standing studio/loft connected to our home. We had definite ideas and a strict budget. Cheryl patiently listened as we discussed our goals, ideas and concerns. She developed several options from which we were able to select the plan that suited our needs. Having dealt with architects who seem more intent on satisfying their own artistic vision rather than fulfilling client’s desires, it was refreshing working with Cheryl, who placed our interests first. I hope to work with her again.“

“Working with Cheryl helped us enormously with our home renovation. She listened to our wish list, our priorities, and our budget constraints, and came up with multiple options that were all really doable. She has a great aesthetic sense and helped us find accents for our modest home that fit with the style and provided just the right amount of extra oomph. It was great that she could do as little or as much as we wanted. Of course we needed building specs from her, but because we lacked confidence about some of the decorating decisions, she offered to help us shop for tiles, countertops, flooring, and lighting fixtures. She has great taste and the end result is simply beautiful.”

“After our first meeting with Cheryl, we knew we wanted to work with her. We felt that she was perfect for our project---a whole-house renovation of our 850 square foot home. Cheryl valued craftsmanship and quality of materials throughout design and construction, but was also budget conscious. She was very enthusiastic about working on our house from the outset, and was able to blend our ideas with hers to give us the new home we wanted.”
